Atrophy
Nothing happens. You may be predicting when your period is due based on past cycles, but cycles are rarely always the same length - it's normal for there to be around seven days variation from one cycle to the next - there are also various reasons why a period may be later than predicted, such as stress or ill-health around the time you were due to ovulate. It's only really a concern if you go over three months without your period, if that happens then it's a good idea to see your doctor. If sexually active you may want to take a pregnancy test if your period is late.
Fluenza.
Yes. if your period isn't due for 6 more days, it is not a missed period, yet. You can usually get an accurate blood test when your period is three to four days late - the urine test needs 4 to 10 more days to confirm a pregnancy. A false negative only happens when you test too soon.
of course u can i got pregnant with my daughter the day before my period was due
maybe
As I am a girl and obvously have periods, a few days before i am due to start my period this is what happens to me. I don't know if you ovulate the around the same time as your period. Hope i have answered your question though. Mabe you are due to start your period???
wait the next 28 days after the period
If the first day of your last menstrual period happens on April 4, 2008 then you are due January 11,2009.
sometimes it just happens... :/
Retest one week after your missed period, some tests are sensitive enough to use the day your period is due but others are not. By one week after your period was due, your hCG will be at a level any HPT should be able to give an accurate and reliable answer. Using the HPT 5 days before your period is due is always going to be unreliable, unless you have very irregular cycles. Generally speaking, ovulation occurs 14 days before your period is due, you then have a 24 hour window to conceive. 10 to 12 days after conception the fertilized egg starts implanting into the uterine wall, at that time your hCG level starts rising and will be at the necessary 50mIU/ml to 80mIU/ml - between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 weeks following conception, which just happens to coincide with the week your period is due.
