What happens in fruits basket episode 17?

In volume 21, Tohru tells Kyo she loves him, but he runs away and leaves her broken-hearted. Akito finds Tohru and they talk for a while. Tohru tries to befriend Akito, but falls off a cliff. Akito runs to Shigure to tell him the news. Yuki overhears and runs to Tohru, but finds Kyo already there. Kyo cries, and before Tohru becomes unconscious, she tells him, "It's okay," meaning if she dies, she still wants him to live a happy life. He kisses her. Tohru is then rushed off to the hospital, while the Sohmas go back to the estate. Yuki and Kyo fight, and then they each confess that they always wanted to be like the other. Finally, Yuki and Machi meet at a train station, when he gives her a Mogeta statue. She gives him a bag of fertilizer, and then leave, hand-in-hand.

Well you know, Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, Hana, and Uo graduate high school. That's what it shows at first. Then the next scene shows Kyo and Tohru cleaning out Shigure's old home, cuz remember Kyo and Tohru are moving away together and Shigure moved in with Akito (cuz now him and her are dating, most likely they'll get married). Then Tohru says theres nothing left and they'll be staying at Shishou's house that night, and then she says to Kyo that she keeps remembering the first day she stayed there, and she says "Yuki and Shigure were all so kind......and then..... Kyo came through the roof!" she says smiling, pointing upward, then Kyo looks down and blushes, and then Tohru says "Yes! I was very surprised, everyone changing surprised me ever more. But it was...fun" "I...had a lot of fun, passing everyday with everyone, it was fun. A jewel...it is dear...it is dear....lonely that's it" Tohru says looking down, very sad, and Kyo comes over and puts his arms around her making her feel better. And then she says "Lonely, you think that because you loved us everyday that passed, when you love, equal to the amount that loved. Parting is also lonely" And then Kyo says "you don't understand....you. As for you, more than you think, everyone loved you, therefore its all right without the separation of this life a new banquet can start...right?" Kyo says smiling, and Tohru goes automatically happy going YES! and then she got all emotional and shy.

The next scene, shows Yuki and Machi. He starts to hand a key to Machi and she's like "...?" and Yuki says "It's the key to my new apartment, come by anytime" "so you don't think im cheating on you and worry" (you know jokingly) and machi goes "i would...never....worry about that" and she reaches for the key, and Yuki pulls it away and says "Its a lie!" standing up, but just kidding, and Machi says "you are an unpleasant person!" as Yuki really DOES give her the key, and she has her hand wrapped around it, and he smiles saying "Obedient people are the best arent they?" or something of that sort, and then Machi says "The departure is only a little ways off isn't it?" And Yuki says "uh-huh Mine is too, but tomorrow, they depart" (meaning Kyo and Tohru) so Machi says "Are you lonesome?" so Yuki says "of course" and machi says "I am lonesome too. seeing you Yuki, will be much harder now. But I will catch up to you, without fail, i will catch up to you" and Yuki says "I will wait for you" and he leans down to touch her face and kiss her.

The next scene shows Ritsu talking to Kagura cuz theyre good friends. He tells Kagura about how Shigure stopped becoming a novelist, and Kagura said she had no idea she just knew he was moving back to the main house and Ritsu says "I heard it from Mitsuru-san, she is already rejoicing" (she is Shigures editor) Then it shows a small picture of them rejoicing together, haha, and it says "It must be so he can be by Akitos side. will they get married I wonder? must be nice" i think ritsu said it, and then Kagura goes "What about you Ritsu, when will you get married to Mitsuru san?" cuz theyre together and Ritsu flips out. And then Kagura says everyones all too lovey dovey (she has no one:( ) and Ritsu mentions the departure and Kagura says shes only going for her charming Kyo not for Tohru, and Ritsu says "you want them to be happy don't you?" smiling and kagura says no that its different, and says without fail they will become happy and they both look up smiling.

The next scene is Kisa and Hiro walking and they pass Shigure's house and they say its not going to be demolished and its going to stay there for quite some while and Kisa gets happy, and says its good that its not going to be demolished and then she gets all sad looking down, and starts to cry, and Hiros like "what?!" And she goes "im sorry, its different, the house reminded me of tomorrow. its alright, tomorrow ill be smiling when saying goodbye..." and then hiro takes her face and says "its alright, tomorrow even if you feel like you have to cry, do it, because you loved her"

The next scene is Rin, Haru, and Momiji. And they're talking about a bunch of stuff and then Momiji says that Kyo just wants Tohru all to himself, and that he wants to pinch Kyo and then Haru says you could pinch him tomorrow...? but Momiji said that's not possible in front of Tohru, and that its fine. He said he will find someone new, and that Tohru must be happy no matter what. Rin says she keeps getting angry and sulking and some other things.

Next scene is Saki Hanajima and Shishou. She became his new house keeper.

Next scene is Arisa Uotani on the phone with Kureno. and they talk about things together smiling.

The next scene is Ayame and Mine they talk about being lonely and sending off clothes to Tohru.

The next scene is Hatori and oh shoot I forget her name. starts with M. she was Tohru's former teacher who cut her hair short. Now with Hatori, they talk and theyre gonna go on a vacation together.

The next scene is Shigure and Akito with her long hair! she said she's not going because if she wants to see them she'll go whenever she wants. They walk away together.

Next scene back at Shigure's house Yuki and Kyo don't fight, and its so calm. He tells Tohru his feelings, and how he saw her as a mother and how everyone else loved her and thought that too and they all loved her, and told her she helped everyone, and all this stuff. and he says "Thank You...thank you Tohru"

all of those scenes showed each character remembering Tohru, and meeting her. Then when Yuki was telling her everything it showed the other characters smiling, doing things, ect. Kyo on the roof smiling, Akito in her hat smiling, Rin leaning on Haru, ect.

Then it says "Im leaving, but I'll be back" Meaning Tohru left, but theyre coming back. to shigure's house! It shows a little girl, this is the granddaughter of Tohru and Kyo. and Yuki and Machi! Tohru and Kyo had a son. he is shown in a fill in the blank sketch. Yuki and Machi had a daughter. Their kids got married. I THINK, that's what I read. But Tohru and Kyo definetly had a son. he is shown. and then it shows Kyo and Tohru as an elderly couple walking and smiling, down a path. Then the last picture says "As the years pass" and shows a table, with a picture of the Honda family, more pictures most likely of the Tohru and Kyo and son family, Kyo's beads, Kyo's hat that Yuki had, the zodiac figures Tohru had with the cat, and some flowers.

Tohru meets Shigure and Yuki. Then Yuki walks Tohru to school. Yuki and Shigure ask Tohru to live with them. Then Kyo comes in and Tohru changes Yuki, Shigure, and Kyo into they're Chinease Zodiac form.
