What happens in mw2?

Well if you mean the storyline then you better sit back and pop open some snacks boys and girls because i find the best way to explain everything is from the beging of MW1.

NOTE: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO OR YOU ALREADY COMPLETLY UNDERSTAND THE EVENTS OF MW1 SKIP TO PARAGRAPH 5.

So in the not so distant future Russia breaks into Civil war where the millitary is squaring off against a rebel group of "ultranationlists" lead by (forgive me if i mispell names) Imran Zakhaev who is a old school communist from back in the days of the Soviet Union. He despises the Russian Federation and still firmly holds onto the belife that the world will only know peace under the rule of the iron fist of Communism. So he begins to sell weapons to Khalad Al-asad who is leading a open rebillion in a unnamed middle eastern country, to fuel his cause and to also to draw Russias allies (primarily the United States and the U.K) into another conflict so they aren't crushed under the weight of all three armies. Although the United states focuses all it's efforts against AL-Asad, the U.K decides to still go after the Russian Ultranationalists with it's anti-terrisom task force the SAS. the game (MW1) really kicks off with a SAS team (which includes Soap Mactavish and Captain Eddie Price) stroming a Romanian carrier that has been siezed by The R.U.N. (Russian ultranationalists). after clearing the ship they discover a nuclear weapon that was supposed to be delivered to Al-asad. Meanwhile Al-asad executes the former president of the unnamed middle eastern country which i have taken to calling the land of Arabian nights. And he does it on international televison just to really get his point across.

- So the U.K decides to leave all that to the Americans while they go off and save their informant in the Russian ultranationalist camp (nikoli). They kill lots of R.U.N troops and find their informant who tells them that the Americans are about to screw up majorly. And sure enough the U.S has decided that its time they kicked some A$$ and send in the marines to capture and/or kill Al-asad. The missons ends up being a faliure when they find out that Al-asad pulled a Houdini on them and was really broadcasting from some where else in the land of Arabian nights.

-So a few unimportant missons later the marines are hitting another town they belive Al-Asad is hiding in. They end up having a massive battle with the Arabian knights (as i call the Opfor) and end up finding a nuclear device instead of Al-Asad. A bomb squad tries to defuse it but something goes beserk and the Device detonates killing around 30,000 marines. Meanwhile the Brits have discovered the real location of Al-Asad in a small village. They end up killing everybody in the village and capturing and interrogating him. And in the middle of the interogation Al-Asdas cell phone rings and price picks up and listens to the voice of the man who had called. After listening the voice, captain price gives Al-Asad a new hole to breath through in his forehead. This is when you learn that captain price was involved in a assasination attempt on Zakhaev life 15 years before the current date in the plot line which puts the assassination attempt in the year 1996 back when zakhaev could still open his beers by himself. so back then Zakhaev was using the benifits from the collaps of the Soviet Union and the recent availabillity of Nuclear arms through black marketers in the Russian millitary to sell illiagal arms and make money to fund his efforts to start the R.U.N rebillion. Which is why the U.K saw him as such a great threat to global stabillity. But obviously the misson fails when Price shot Zakhaev with a Barret 50. cal and only blew his left arm off making him the handicap he is in the current day.

-So back in the present day A joint strike forces if formed between the SAS and the U.S Marine Recon. The strike force, with the aid of the Russian Spetsnaz (who for those of you who don't know are the Russian special forces who are loyal to the Russian Government) enter a unnamed Russian city in attempt to Capture Zakhaevs son to learn of Zakhaevs whereabouts. But when they corner Zakheavs son his decides to commit suicide instead of being captured.Zakhaev is enraged by his sons death and blames the Western countries for his sons death. Which it really kind of was their fault. So Zakhaev capturs a nuclear missle silo and plans to launch Icbms with a nuclear payload at the U.S eatern border which will kill a projected 41 million. But good guys prevail and they capture the silo control room and detoate the missles over the atlantic. So that only leaves on last thing to do. Kill the hell out of Zakhaev. The strike force chases him down but right wehn they have him in their grasp a R.U.N Hind attack helicopter destroys the bridge and forces the survivng members of the strike force out of their vehicals and into a massive gun battle with R.U.N forces. However right in the middle of the firefight a leaking tanker truck explodes and sends the team hurling towards the ground where the last of the strike force make a final stance on the bridge where all the team members but Gaz, Soap, Price and a Marine are left alive. But thaat changes shortly after when Zakhaev walks out from the smoke with two of his soldiers and they execute Gaz and the marine. And when all seems lost Price throws Soap and handgun, who uses it to end all three mens lives. From there the spetsnaz make their grand appearnce, and commence medical treatment on the seemingly dead Captain price and air left soap off the battlefield.

-which brings us too MW2. So in this game the death of Zakhaev only fuled the R.U.N cause. Which lead the ultranationalist to win the Russian Civil War and start on their way to restore the motherland to it's sovietself. And in order to do so they build a massive statue of Zakhaev in Red square and declare him a hero to further gain public support. Meanwhile A man named Vladamire Makarov, a former luitenant of Zakhaev's, starts a campaighn to bring down the West by commiting terroist acts for five years. which brings us to the date 2016 in the land of arabian nights, which for those of you who didn't read the MW1 description is what i call the unnamed middle eastern country. A group of Army Rangers is busy training a local millitary force to stand up against a get rid of the last remnants of Al-Asads men. one of these Rangers in Pvt. Joseph Allen. Allen ends up completing a kill house shooting range with the best time and gets noticed by General sheperd, an american hero who must get his mustache styling tips from mario. After Allen further proves himself, in a battle to take a city from Al-Asads men Sheperd recruits allen to be apart of a U.N anti-terrisom task force known as task force 131.

-meanwhile everybodys favoite brit Soap mactavish and another british task force memeber "Roach" have infiltrated a Russian airbase in Kazakastan to retrieve a ACS module from a downed satelite. and they end up blowing up half the place in the proccess.

-After those two are done kicking A$$ and taking names it's allens turn to steal the thunder. He gets sent in undercover in Russia by the Central intellagence Angency under the allias of Alexi Borodin. After one of my favorite video game quotes "You don't want to know what it will cost to put you next to him. but it will cost you a piece of yourself. But it will cost nothing compared to everything you will save"-general sheperd-you find Allen in a elevator in Zakhaev national airport in Moscow with Makarov and a few other of his men all armed to the teeth with automatic weapons. After a masecre of inocent civilans and poilce officers in the airport makarov shoots and kills allen. Now bare with me here, because it's gonna get a little complex and alot crazy.

-The reason Makarov killed allen is because he knew he was working for the CIA and left his body there to later by ID'd by Russians as an american agent. The Russian government, who already hates america because of their attempt to stop the R.U.N a few years ealier, uses the attack as not only a way to anger its public but also as an excuse to finally bring down the West once and for all.

So using the data they collected from the ACS module before its retrivel the Russians scramble U.S satelites and launch a massive suprise attack on the Eastern sea border of America.

-meanwhile Task force 141 continues it's search to link makarov as the mastermind behind the Airport shooting because Allen must have forgot to put on his microphone or something so they have no proof. which is why you don't appoint Rangers to the CIA after a week of preperation. anywho intel leads the task force to Brazil where they track down Makarovs favorite weapons dealer Alejandro Rojas who supplied the weapons and ammo for the airport shooting. The task force ends up finding out from Rojas that Makarovs most hated enemy is lock up in a gulag of the coast of Petropavlovsk, and is only known name at the moment is prisoner 627. After busting down the door in true british style Soap and Roach end up freeing 627 who ends up being Captain price who was still incarcerated in a Russian millitary hospital when the R.U.N won the war. Price decides to help his old friend and task force 141. But as any true hero would agree price thinks the war in America needs to be one if they ever hope to capture Makarov.

-General sheperd being the charmer he is denys Price an authorization to help in the American homefront. But Price won't have any of that and temporarly goes rouge with 141 to assault a russian nuclear sub base. After more fancy british accents and more dead Russians Price gets inside a nuclear sub and launches a nuclear missle at washington D.C But instead of blowing the city to hell he detonates the nuke in the atmophere creating an EMP that frys all electroncis that were currently turned on any where on the Eastern sea border. Whcih includes Russian millitary hardware.

-after a long a bloody fight the Americans push back the russians and the battle for D.C is won. Afterwards T141 narrows Makarovs hiding places to two loactions and so they split up. Roach and other fellow T141 members including one named "ghost" take a lodge in the Euro mountains. While Price and Soap go to a aircraft boneyard in the land of Arabian nights. Roach and ghost end up not finding makarov but rather his computer and vital info on it. they escape with the data with makarvos guys chasing them guns blazing. But it ends up that sheperd played them from the begining and uses his 357 magnum to blow a hold in Roach's side and ghosts teeth out the back of his throat.

-now the reason behind this betrayal is because it turns out that Sheperd was the Generel that planned the attack on the city where the nuke detonated in MW1. well He losts his marbles after having to deal with the guilt of losing 30,000 men to the nuclear weapon. And when no other countries took up arms against Al-Asad and when the U.S citizens didn't rush to sign up for service in the millitary Sheperd snapped. Vowing not only to take revenge on makarov and the rest of his R.U.N allies but also to make the U.S citizens the patriots he always wanted them to be. So he used Makarov to start a conflict between the U.S and Russia so that it would cause an outburst of patriotism in the U.S. and also give him the opputrunity to seek his revenge against the R.U.N who now run the Russian government.

-So Soap and price find this out the hard way and end up escaping the boneyard with the help of nikoli. And at the same time they contact Makarov and team up with him so they can all three have their revenge on sheperd. So makarov uses his intel sources to locate sheperds hidden base where Soap and price track him down to. And after a massive battle. a river raft chase and a amazing show of marsmen ship[ by price when he takes down sheperds heilcopter with an assualt rifle we find out hero soap disorinted and chasing after sheperd through a sand storm. but when he reaches him shepard opens up a can of army ranger A$$ whooping on soap and stabs him with a knife. Soap is just about to be executed by sheperd when Price tackles Sheperd and also gets his a$$ whooped. But just like any good action hero soap pulls out sheperds knife from deep within him and throws it at the lunitic general who catches it right in the eye and falls down dead like the traitoris dog he is. Then nikoli comes in a chopper and price heaves soap over to the chopper and just like that it ends. can't wait for the next installment!
