Girl Meets World is a sequel to ABC's Boy Meets World, Girl Meets World will center around Cory and Topanga's daughter, Riley as well as her own life. Topanga will be working in a law firm while Cory will be teaching Riley's class.
In Girl Meets World's "Girl Meets Boy," Cory gives the class an assignment which fails so he gives them a new variation of the assignment in order to test the test on whether technology has improved people or made people worse in communicating and in doing so he also temporarily confiscates their cell phones. Riley, Maya and their friends go to the library to research and Maya soon discovers that she is talented in art while Riley finally learns to communicate with Lucas with an open and clear mind.
In the episode titled Girl Meets Boy, in the second episode of the Girl Meets World, Maya leads a rebellion in class, and she is joined by Riley.

In the first episode which was also the aired-Pilot episode of Girl Meets World Riley and her rebellious friend; Maya try to sneak out of the house but Riley's parents; Cory and Topanga catch them but they do allow them to take the subway. Riley meets a young guy named Lucas who she instantly falls for. During class Cory's assignment is for them to write an essay on something they would be willing to fight for and Maya opts to fight for no homework and she drags Riley into the protest as well however the protest leads to a smoke alarm being set off. Riley decides that she wants to fight for Maya and so Riley's parents; Cory and Topanga both decide that she is ready to ride the subway without them and they give her the Subway card that she would need in order to ride one.
Actually, Ray Colcord did not "sing" the Boy Meets World theme. He wrote the first two themes. The final theme song with the vocals and lyrics was written and sung by Phil Rosenthal of the LA band Twenty Cent Crush. Fact!

Yes, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will indeed return for the new spin-off called \"Girl Meets World\". The two were officially announced in November of 2013 to be reprising their roles as Cory and Topanga.
