the house of night series is about a girl named zoey and in her world there are vampires and to become one you have to be marked with the goddess nyx symbol and outlined cresant moon and become a fledgling (you have to be one for 4 years before becomming a full fledged vampire). zoey is sixteen when she is marked and is forced to leave home and live at the house of night with all the other fledgelings or she will reject the change from being away from vampires. from there zoey lifes changes she meets her room mate Stevie rae and other friends damien,Erin and shaunee. she ends up stuck in a love triangle between her human ex-boyfriend heath and her crush on hottest guy in school and school bitch aphrodite's ex-boyfriend Erik night even though she wont accept it. later zoey and her friends find out that she has a gift from her goddess with the power to control all 5 elements (fire,water,earth,wind and spirit) and later find out all her friends have powers to damien (wind) Erin (water) shaunee (fire) and Stevie rae (earth).during the books she finds out the nefert the house if night high preistess (shcool principle) is not as nice as she seems and turns out to be evil and manipulating. and turns out to be createing her own new type of undead fledgelings with red outlined cresants and her best friend Stevie rae becomes one after rejecting the change. nefert ends up manipulating people such as loren Blake to do her dirty deads and gets him to sudeuce zoey and have sex with her which results her new boyfriend Erik night to break up with her and her friends to get mad and abandone her in her time of need while nerfert creates something evil. nefert ends up releaseing kalona evil immortal that used to be the warrior of nyx but becames jelous of her mate and she domes her to ertirnity on earth where he was tricked by a bunch of women from the Cherokee women and intraps him in the earth but not after he has raped and killed women after they had his half bird have human kids. all the while zoey is facing love triangles left right and center she and Erik break up over loren Blake and later heath because zoey imprints on him and in comes the all hot James stark a transfer from the Chicago house of night with the gift with a bow and arrow to always hit the taget and he steal her heart right after she declares to hold off on love for a while only for him to reject the but later come back as one of neferts minnions to only go behind her back and become zoey devoted warrior and end up helping her save the day and nefert ends up killing heath for easdrooping on her and kalonas conversation (bout time someone kills him off i didnt like him c(: ) and to break zoeys soul where stark has to travel to the other world and becomes the first warrior ever to go to the other world and save there preistess and make it back both of them alive and becomes there gaurdian and him and zoey end up becomeing in love where the books stands now they are looking for a way to stop nefert and kalona before they take over the world and kill everyone.
