∙ 14y agoSince the Saltwater Fish's body has adapted to a certain level of salt and water in its environment, a sudden decrease in salt would cause water to rush into the fish's cells due to osmosis. The concentration of water has just been raised in the outside so it would go from high to low, from the water to inside the fish.
