Kids that run away generally don't make it through the night since the honey badgers like to come out. most little kids will either get eaten by the honey badger because the honey badger doesn't give a s**t. but if you are one of the few kids who could some escape the clutches of the terrible honey badger you will soon start to starve and dehydrate since you have no one to care for you anymore. which at first will be a terrible feeling but soon your cerebral cortex will be liquefied and you will feel nothing and will die slowly and alone praying every night that either you were just home again or that the honey badger will come and find you to put you out of your misery.

Well if the police were called into the situation then the whole foster home may have to be inspected to make sure the children are being treated right.

If you are the foster parent of the child, I would bring the child back home and sit them down, do not yell at them or be angry because that may cause both sides of the situation to say or do things they wouldn't normally do. Ask the child why they ran away and if there is anything you can do to make things better.

Listen to the child.

They would be returned to their parents unless there was a serious underlying reason for them to abscond.
