The speeding ticket is a separate issue. If you don't have insurance you get done for driving without insurance, speeding or not.
The Georgia speeding ticket is still valid. It is not required that you sign the ticket. If it is for less that 14 mph over the limit it is a no points ticket and most people just pay. According to Georgia law, if a person has unpaid speeding tickets they will get a suspended license. The person may also have to go to jail on a bench warrant if they missed court.
