Some fish may somehow be able to know beforehand that a tsunami is coming and make retreat to safer areas. Others may simply be in a sheltered area by chance. Many fish may be carried inland with the tsunami. Some of these fish will be lucky and get carried back out to sea unharmed. Others may be killed by debris in the tsunami, or stranded on dry land.
most of them died because they cant take such strong waves like that, plus all of the things they have to go through when the water is in the process of flooding the land. The fishes would be getting dragged and getting caught in things during the tsunami, sadly.
Animals, including fish have a built in sense of identifying earthquakes, which we are still unaware of. Some species of ship come to the top just before an earthquake. So they may be able to detect the upcoming disaster during a tsunami.
That depends where the tsunami is, if its far out, nothing happens. But if its near shore, then the fish get carried with it.

i dont know but now im curious about wat happens to them!
well, they go down deep where the waves are notthere.
Hurricanes do not affect fish and sharks. A hurricane is a weather event that takes place in the air, not underwater.
Well, it was proven that inland bull shark sightings increased after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. My two guesses as to why: 1) The bull sharks' sensory systems detected the storm's turbulence before the brunt of the hurricane hit and relocated further upriver or out to deeper waters. 2) Post-hurricane, the salinity of the water inland has changed significantly enough to allow bull sharks to stay in lakes and rivers longer than usual.
There is rain during a hurricane because for there to be a hurricane there has to be water greater than 80 degrees on top of the water. This means that there is probably rain.
No major fish kills occurred
"Hurricane" Zeta was never a hurricane, just a tropical storm. There were no deaths from Tropical Storm Zeta.
