Life is based on the ability of cells to reproduce, or make copies of themselves. This is done by a process called cell division = one cell divides into two cells. * For one-celled organisms, cell division = reproduction; each cell division not only produces a new cell, it also produces a new organism (bacteria, protists). * For multicellular organisms (like us) cell division allows an organism to grow and develop from a single cell to trillions of cells, and also to repair and replace cells.
this should be common sense...but if an organism is a unicellular organism it of course would die too, because cells carry out all metabolic processes. The nucleus is the control center of the cell and once that dies the cell will die because it no longer has anything to tell it 'what to do to survive'. It's like a human living without a brain..not possible :( However, normally unicellular cells reproduce rather quickly so chances are it has already made several replications of itself before it's death :)
It depends on which cells died and how many. Cells die regularly and all the time - this is normal. But if a small amount of key cells (like in the brain) are killed, the entire organism could die. And, of course, if all the cells in the organism dies, then the organism dies too.
When a unicellular organism dies, the organism dies, just like a human would die.
Unless it is a brain cell, it will be replaced
no life will occur
The organism dies and is digested from the organism it was eaten by.
No. A brain cell is just one cell in a many-celled organism.
Unicellular organisms have only one cell for each organism. Multicellular organisms are organisms with more than one cell for each organism.
a one celled organism has only one job to do.....but a organism has many jobs to do a one celled organism has one job to do....but a multi-celled organism has many jobs to do.
When an organism is made of more then one cell it is called multicellular. When the organism is made of only one cell it is a single celled organism.
The organism dies and is digested from the organism it was eaten by.
That cell is a clone of the first. This happens all the time in your body.
An organism that is only made up of one cell is a unicellular organism. Uni- meaning one. An organism with more than one cell is a multicellular organism, such as humans. An example of a unicellular organism is bacterium.
No, an organism with one cell is uni-cellular.
No. A brain cell is just one cell in a many-celled organism.
An organism that has only one cell.
An organism with only one cell is called a unicellular so an organism with more than one cell is called a multicellular meaning more than one cell
A one celled organism is called a unicellular organism.
An organism that is composed of one cell.
Unicellular organisms have only one cell for each organism. Multicellular organisms are organisms with more than one cell for each organism.
An organism that is composed of one cell.
It is a multicellular organism.
