Not all boasting and being proud is a bad thing when it is used with the right intent. Nearly all of the Apostle Paul's letters mention his boasting and a few his pride serving Christ. Here are two examples:
2 Corinthians 10:13New International Version (NIV)13 We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us, a sphere that also includes you.
Romans 11:13New International Version (NIV)
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry
However, like with most things, if our intentions are for our selfish gains and not the love of others or to honor God, then these we are warned to avoid as they are setting their own fate - particularly those as we approach the end-times:
2 Timothy 3:2-8New International Version (NIV)2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.
The Apostle John speaks of pride this way:
1 John 2:16New International Version (NIV)
16 For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-comes not from the Father but from the world.
she was not. she is the most wonderful person in the bible. she was and still is looked up to. personally i don't see how she was prideful.
In the Bible Satan had pride and wanted to be higher than God. God loves us and where we are is where we should be and we should not be prideful of the authority god gives us.
When you translate the bible , you're able to read it in a different language (:

How many people are mnetioned in the bible? my name is mentioned in the bible
No.
1 Corinthians 13 4: 13
Because the translated Bible versions today are very easy to read by anyone. It is good because many can begin learning about God, thus building on a relationship. However, for those that are prideful, such as the Pharisees were, the Bible can be used as a weapon (in other words quoted word-for-word but not the way the scripture was intended by God as the prideful use it in manipulation and for personal gain). The Holy Spirit is like a personal decoder in discovering the depths of the Bible where black and white text only covers just the surface. One scripture could have several messages behind it that better the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit brings Revelation to the word.
Most major religions consider incest to be morally wrong. Incest goes against the teachings of many religious texts and is generally prohibited due to concerns about genetic disorders and societal norms.
If you can trust The Biographical Bible there are 3237 people mentioned in the Bible. Ruth A. Tucker provides a chronological account of the Bible's people and events from Adam and Eve to John of Patmos.
