My English Bulldog ate saran wrap. We initially did not know what was wrong with her. She threw up for the second time and that is when we noticed the saran wrap. She continued to throw up clear liquids with white foam then after about the 10th time her liquid vomit started to turn a beige/brown shade (indicator of blood). We took her to the vet and got x-rays and an ultrasound. Nothing appeared with either of these scans. All together she threw up 17 times. We admitted her in the animal hospital so she could have 24 hour care and intravenous. She seemed okay the following 9 hours after admission but then she started having bloody diarrhea. Behaviorally she presented well, although a bit tired. We discharged her after 2 nights stay at the animal hospital and she was prescribed meds to help her not vomit and help with the diarrhea and irritated stomach. All seemed well for a couple days then we noticed she developed a rash on her belly (round red spots). These spots would come and go a couple times a day. Nearly 2 weeks after the initial incident, she stopped getting the spots and then passed another 2 pieces of additional saran wrap in her feces. Since she passed the saran wrap she has completely recovered. We are not sure what may have been in the saran wrap she ate but we are fairly certain that the saran wrap was the root cause of the throwing up, diarrhea and probably the rash. At the end of the day her body processed it and when she finally expelled it, she recovered.
Dogs can't digest styrofoam, so as long as the pieces are small enough to pass through the natural way nothing much will happen.
If the dog has managed to swallow large lumps they might cause a blockage that has to be removed surgically for the dog to survive.
If it was only a tiny bit then nothing, it will pass through and there shouldn't be a problem
they die
you die
the styrofoam dissolves
styrofoam is cool
1. it is resistant to oxydation 2. it's artificial, so no organisms can eat it.
You can find styrofoam koozie on this link:-- http://www3.shopping.com/-styrofoam+koozies
No
If they eat it, yes.

uh who would be stupid enough to eat styrofoam lol. Best thing to do is not even eat it.
I don't think it's ever healthy to eat off melted styrofoam...
You'll get very sick.
they turn green and turn into a super dog
Because styrofoam is made from the same oil base as gasoline, and has large air pockets.
Because it is a way to clean their stomachs like what happens when dogs eat grass
i have read that nothing will happen and it is heathy for the dog sometimes
