leather in the cold does not get hard. when you leave it in the cold for about 30 minutes, it becomes really cold. leather in the sun is still bendable in 30 min. it becomes hot, but not really hot. OK leather in water becomes really floppy and soft. oh yeah it is also really wet after 30 minutes in the water THIS QUESTION IS GOOD FOR SCIENCE STUFF!!!!!!!
Pour some sugar in cold water. It won't all disolve. Now pour the same amount of sugar in the same amount of water, except the water's warm, and see what happens.
Smear water at blood temperature on your skin. It will feel cold as it uses heat from you to evaporate.
if heat energy is being removed from water, then the water will solidify forming ice because of the unique property of water called high heat fusion. this property protects animals at lower temperature from freezing. >> gigi_011:))
If you heat up aluminum and then place it in cold water it can dissolve.
As water changes from a liquid to a solid, heat is released. The heat of fusion of water is 79.72 cal/g or 333.55 J/g.
It becomes cold.
its gets cold Actually the ice gets warmer. Its the water that gets cold.
the granite will get hot from being heated repeatedly and you will get cold from plunging into cold water. not sure why you you want to do either.
Unless you bought 'cold brew' tea, then you have to heat it. You can make 'sun tea and leave it out in direct sun in cold water, and let the sun heat the water and make the tea, without heat, tea in cold water will make very mildly tea flavored water.
Fleece does, definitely. it is somewhat thicker, and leather can get cold if not properly insulated.

there is no chemical change when ammonium chloride is added to water. NH4Cl + H2O + heat -> products. it also cold when it is dissolved in water.
Hot Water extinguishes more effectively than cold water as it has a higher specific heat capacity than cold water.
basically the scientific fact that heat rises and cold temperatures sink. A convection loop happens in air and water.
Hot water merges with the cold water, and any heat is dissipated.
This type of heat transfer is called conduction. The transfer is from the warm hand to cool water.
it turns it heat on
