I'm afraid you're pretty much out of luck. Your only option is to restore your iPod (thus erasing your app data) by going to settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings. Be sure to not restore from a backup when it prompts you. Then you can redownload your music and apps, but your application data will be gone.
