AnswerNothing much is likely to happen to people who deny the Trinity. The Trinity was never mentioned in The Bible, apart from a brief mention in 1 John, where it first appeared in a Latin translation in the fifth century. The doctrine of the Holy Trinity became important in the fourth century, when one branch of Christianity developed and defended it, while another, the Arians, opposed the doctrine. Had the Arians won that contest, the doctrine of the holy Trinity, as we know it, would not exist today.

Are there Unitarian Universalist Catholics?

No, Universalism is one of the Protestant heresies, which has crept into some preaching in the Catholic Church, but is not found in any of its doctrines or dogmas. Unitarians are heretics who deny the Trinity: the Trinity is one of the foundational truths of Christianity, thus a Unitarian is not even a Christian.

Why do people deny certain things?

They think that the result of telling the truth will be worse then to deny it ANSWER: I agree, but for some of us, if we deny or tell white lies it will help us not to be on a hot seat, or in trouble that might hurt someone who we care about. There is of course the point that people deny things is because they are not guilty of what they are accused of.
