The reaction for photosynthesis is:
6CO2 + 6H20 + Sunlight => C6H12O6 (glucose) + 6O2
6 molecules of Carbon dioxide and 6 molecules of Water are converted into 1 molecule of glucose sugar and 6 molecules of Oxygen.
This means that if there is either a shortage of water molecules or carbon dioxide molecules the reaction could only run so far before it ran out of "raw materials" to produce glucose and oxygen.
water is a reactant in photosynethesis and therefore the reaction to make the end product (glucose and oxygen) will not take place. Therefore, lowering the rate of photosynthesis.
this is true
Photosynthesis does not produce water is uses it.
Rate of photosynthesis decreases because the tissues which helps in transport of water stop transporting due to increase in temperature and hence change in rate of photosynthesis decreases.
temperature decreases
it decreases
there is more excess water being un-used
It decreases with it. CO2 is essential for it
It decreases. Photosynthesis depends on the availability of light.
Photosynthesis does not produce water is uses it.
Photosynthesis occurs within an ideal band of temperature. As the temperature changes in either direction from the center of the band, the photosynthesis rate decreases.
There is no photosynthesis
.The pressure of the water decreases.
Rate of photosynthesis decreases because the tissues which helps in transport of water stop transporting due to increase in temperature and hence change in rate of photosynthesis decreases.
There is no photosynthesis
There is no photosynthesis
Light is reflected by the water and by waterborne particles, so the light intensity decreases with depth. It eventually becomes insufficient to power photosynthesis.
temperature decreases
In every liquid (with the exception of water) the molecules, when the temperature decreases, contract.
