This is dangerous and can be fatal if untreated.

there are lots of things that could happen. If the part of the lungs that oxygenate the blood were to fail, then you would most likely be dead. But without the respiratory system working, you would die.

The heart doesnt get any fuel, so it stops beating, therefore stopping the circulatory system. THis happens over a long time, from like 6 to 30 minutes or so. Hope this helps. :)
