∙ 14y agoThere are lots of different types of bacteria that live on meat that are killed in the cooking process. If you were to catch one of these, symptoms would probably include vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains and dizzyness. Some of these bacteria can have fatal effects if not treated quickly. It is also possible to get worms and other parasites from eating raw meat. Overall, unless it is very carefully prepared, it is best to cook, smoke or cure it before eating.
