∙ 10y agoA flower may be fertilized by its own pollen or another flowers pollen. When a pollen grain attaches onto the pistil-which contains the ovary which contains undeveloped seeds- it forms a tube down to the ovary and the male parts of the flower unite with the egg cells in the female part.
