The relative humidity percentage wil continue to rise until the dew point is achieved (100% relative humidity). This is when the proper pressure conditions are correct for the water particles in the air to accumulate causing the effect most know as "morning dew".

What happens to humidity if temperature increases?

The relative humidity decreases

What happens to the relative humidity when the temperature increases and the water vapor stays the same?

it decreases :)

If the amount of moisture stays the samewhat happens to the relative humidity when the air temperature decreases?

relative humidity increases. at a lower temperature, the air can hold less water vapour.

If the air temperature stays the samewhat happens to the relative humidity when the amount of moisture increases?

Relative humidity increases.

What happens to the relative humidity of moist air as the air travels over the cascade range?

Decreases

When air is cooled what happens to Relative Humidity?

Yes. Relative humidity is the amount of water vapor actually in the air compared to the amount that could be in the air (saturation point) at the exisiting temperature. So, if the temperature of the air changes and the amount of water vapor in it does not, the relative humidity will be different. But, if the temperature of the air changes and so does the amount of water vapor in it, then the relative humidity could be the same as before the temperature change. That is to say that the air could contain the same percentage of water vapor that it could hold at each temperature, even though the actual amounts are different.

What happens to relative humidity when temperature rises?

When temperature rises, the capacity of air to hold water vapor increases. Consequently, the relative humidity decreases because the amount of moisture present in the air remains the same, but it is spread out over a larger volume.

What happens to relative humidity as a parcel or air rises?

The relative humidity drops. This is because the temperature for the parcel of air is cold and wet which leaves enough room for some water vapor, but not a lot.

What happens to chance of precipitation as Relative Humidity increases?

When relative humidity is increasing the chance of precipitation is increasing

What happens to relative humidity as the air temperature drops below dew point?

It stays at 100%.

What happens to relative humidity if the amount of water vapor in the air stays the same and temp increases?

The relative humidity will decrease.

How much us high relative humidity?

Relative humidity is 100% of water vapor in the air. When that happens dew forms.
