First, wet your hair completely. Next, use a roll brush and hairdryer to get it mostly straight. Finally, use a straightener on a low setting. I feel your pain; I have curly hair too!

use a hair straightner instead of wasting your money on buying hair straighteners use your hairdryer. first wash your hair, then brush your hair to make sure that there are no knots and use a hairspray to spray on your hair[i would use tressemme]next blowdry your hair as usual and use a brush to comb down the hair then after you finished it your hair will look straight and it wont look puffy at all.

Soak it in warm water before you swim, because chlorine is very damaging to hair. Don't dye it. Don't straighten/curl it with a hot iron. (If you MUST, use a protective spray so as to not burn your hair.) Use a protective spray if you use a hairdryer, or use the cool setting. Anything very HOT is damaging to hair. Don't pull it out. NEVER bleach it, EVER.

The hand held hair driers found in most homes are simple to use. They usually have two heat settings. high heat for drying and low heat for styling. For drying hair, use the high setting on both the top and underside of your hair while brushing. The brush will separate strands and help to dry your hair more quickly.

What works for my straight hair is scrunching while it's damp, use a little hairspray or mousse and scrunch some more; then use a diffuser on my hairdryer to set it. (And since my hair doesn't always "scrunch" evenly, I have a wavy curling iron to touch up the straighter areas.)

There is nothing you can do for your hair once it's split, except have the split-ends trimmed off. Some of the things you can do to prevent your hair splitting are, firstly use a good conditioner. Try to avoid using a hairdryer if possible, but if you must use the lowest heat-setting. Avoid coloring your hair too, especially lightening colours which actually bleach the hair as this strips the hair and is very damaging. Believe it or not, but drinking plenty of water also helps. Although your hair is technically "not living", drinking lots of water will noticeably plump up the hair and at the same time it will give your hair more elasticity and bounce, make it stronger in the elements (sun, wind, etc)!

assuming you mean wet nail varnish, try putting you nails in cold water or use a hairdryer on low heat

User Avatar

No. A hairdryer produces such a small amount of heat that it will not affect the weather. Nothing you can do could ever cause or prevent a tornado.
