There will be to much compression in the cylinder and your car wont start! If that differential plug is the tapered pipe thread type, you could crack the case by overtightening.

The rear differential on a 1994 Chevy S10 with a 4.3L V6 4 speed auto transmission and 2WD has a capacity of 4.1 pints. Use the manual to get more information on the rear differential.
It is referring to the indicator light for the automatic-lsd (limited slip differential).
Auto = automatic = something that happens by itself.
Auto LSD means auto limited slip differential. This is a type of traction control function Toyota uses on it's vehicles in two wheel drive. If a wheel spins, braking is applied by the automobile's computer to discontinue the spinning. The wheel on the other end of the axle still propels the vehicle but the wildly spinning wheel's spinning is slowed. Historically a differential was used to accomplish the no wheel spin mode but using the brakes likely is the better way to go.

You can find the schematics for a front differential on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 1994 at various auto part stores. You can also check in the owner's manual.
The 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe rear differential schematic diagram can be obtained from most Chevrolet dealerships. The schematic diagram can also be found at most auto-parts stores.
Not every three-wheeler has a differential. Many three-wheelers, especially those with a single rear wheel (like some auto rickshaws), use a simple axle setup that does not require a differential. However, some designs, particularly those with two rear wheels, may incorporate a differential to allow for smoother cornering and better handling. The presence of a differential largely depends on the specific design and intended use of the vehicle.
Sounds like it is equipped with an open differential.
That model should not have auto locking hubs, like the older 4 X 4 did. In 1988 GM went to a locker in the front differential, which is operated by an actuator, mounted on the upper front of the differential housing. When you shift in, or out of 4 wheel drive, the actuator bring the front axle in, or out of engagement.
