ticks live in dark areas, so if your looking for one in your house its probibly under you furniture, in the crack of the wall, or even in the base of your window! a good thing is they dont infest carpets so they dont hide like fleas. if you are talking about outside then they could be in or near a swamp, a damp area, or a dark area. they could also be on the top of a strand of grass! they are hard to aviod!
