I've had the same situation before. Buy cat milk and a cat bottle from a pet store to feed the kittens. Keep them in cozy warm places and only give them hard food and let them outside when they are old enough. On their first time in the outdoors(if you plan on making them outdoor cats) be around the whole time to make sure they aren't in danger. When you want to bring them inside, make up a call, say the call, and immediately bring them inside so that they associate the word with going inside and when they are older they will know that they have to come inside when you call. Keep on saying the call before bringing them inside until they start going inside themselves when they hear the call. That's when you know they are trained to come back home when called. Reward them each time they do it. For some it may take weeks and some it may take months. Just be patient and practice it daily.

If a pregnant cat passes away before it's kittens are born, unless the kittens are removed through cesarean section, then the kittens unfortunately will die as well.
it is perfectly normal. usually what happens is that she leaves the kittens alone so she can provide them whatever they need.

I have had many kittens. I have noticed that kittens meow a lot when they are lonely or when they are hungry. If they are lonely, all they will need is some affection. Give it too them and they will love you for life.
