It depends on the type of hoover you use. If you run over the wasps with an upright hoover, the revolving brushes at the front will kill it instantly. If you have a particulaly old upright that still sucks the dirt through the fan, the brushes and fan will rip it to pieces.
On the other hand, if you use the hose of an upright or cylinder hoover, the wasp is more likely to survive. How long it would live in a dust full environment I don't know. Hope this helps.

The sting of a queen wasp is painful and, in rare cases, can cause a dangerous reaction.
If you swallowed a wasp it would obviously sting your mouth or your throat then you suck on a ice cube to reduce the swelling.
If that ever happens you should have someone call 911 or take you to the hospital. You should take the can of wasp spray with you so the Doctors can figure out what treatment should be used.
There aren't many replaceable filters in a Hoover Windtunnel. The Hoover Windtunnel only comes with the one filter that happens to be equipped to the device.

If a hamster gets stung by a wasp, it may recover and be fine, though it will have some swelling and pain at the site. Since a hamster is so small, it's also possible that the wasp will inject enough venom to kill the hamster. If your hamster gets stung by a wasp, call a veterinarian immediately.

Yes - there are many types of wasps in California including: German yellowjacket, western yellowjacket, California yellowjacket, paper wasp, mud dauber, fig wasp, Western sand wasp, square headed wasp, bee wolf, Pacific burrowing wasp, gall wasp, soldier wasp, club horned wasp, burrowing wasp, blue mud wasp, cutworm wasp, thread-waisted wasp, mason wasp, potter wasp, and pollen wasp. Obviously this is not a complete list - just scratching the surface really - but it does demonstrate that California has plenty of wasps.
