Well, for one thing, it leaves the question as asked by an anonymous person.
You don't have to sign in to ask a question, but if you don't you can't receive updates when your question is answered.
Nothing happens..it is still a question
You get a silly answer.
You already have ! Any question you ask is 'public' - for anyone to answer.... That's the whole point of forums (not just WikiAnswers).
When you ask an awesome question on Friday mornings you will get an awesome answer.
You just type in your question and you have to sign in and put your email.
Which sign language? British? American? French? German? Re-ask the question with the missing information.
You just did! ;) To ask a new question on Answers, simply type your question in the "Ask us anything" bar at the top of the page. The best way to ask a question is to become a member of the site by clicking "Sign up," and choosing a method (Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, or your email address) to sign up. Then, when you ask a question, you can keep track of where it is, when it is answered, and who answered it (and even follow up with the answerer!).
You will ask this question.
If you ask and question and it is not answered for a while it will go to the queue whereby it will be answered by someone who knows the answer.
Can you please rephrase your question and ask again.
