Sometimes it happens and there is not much you can do about that. Sticky brakes are cause by malfunctioning front brake calipers (have to be replaced if it happens). Or sticky brake cylinders (does not happen often). Anyway before drawing any conclusions you need to find out which one is stuck and than make decisions. PS: Sometimes hand brake rod will get stuck, make sure that you check that too.
You eat them. As long as you don't eat too many, too often nothing bad happens. Eggs are good for you in moderation.
You can get this done at any local garage as it is a simple procedure. You can also try auto zone. they can order your brake pad and install it too.
If locks have also stopped locking automatically, then you will have to change the brake switch located on the brake pedal. Go to a local auto shop and pick one up. It is easy to replace. Just look how the original is mounted, it is not too complicated.
try releasing the brake This happened to me, too, after I used the brake (which I don't do often, but I was parked on a steep hill). I assumed e-brake cable or something was simply stuck. In other words, I wasn't too concerned. Turns out the brake light was on because my brakes desperately needed to be replaced. Once I did that, the light went out. So in my case it was just a coincidence. Perhaps in yours, too. (Eventually the light stayed on all the time.)

Yes. It is a very common form of discrimination. It often happens to people when they are too old or too young.
Most often a brake repair simply involves replacing the brake pads. If the pads have worn too much though the rotors or drums will also need to be resurfaced or replaced. In more serious cases the master cylinder that controls the brake pressure will be replaced. Brake lines rarely if ever need to be replaced.
