You CAN become permanently deaf in that ear, for one, but depending on the extend of the injury your eardrum can heal itself within a matter of weeks. Mild to severe hearing loss during that period can occur. You may feel nauseated and dizzy, as there's parts in your inner ear which regulate balance as well. If it happened due to an inner or middle ear infection, there might be pus or blood coming from your ear as well. In any case, if you think you might have busted your ear drum, consult your doctor for further evaluation and medication if needed.
It will heal in about a week without medical attention. However, if sharp pain invreases go see your doctor because with a damaged eardrum, your ear can become dangerously infected. You diffently want to stay out of the water for a few weeks and keep your ear clean. If your hearing is not restored to the norm after about a month, seek medical attention.
In some cases, such as spontaneous breakage because of an ear infection, the eardrum heals itself without consequence. However there are other types of trauma which can reduce the eardrum's ability to conduct sound vibrations to the middle ear ossicles and deafness results.
i guess when you break your eardrum it will bleed and yes it will hurt ... And sometimes it depends how bad you broke your eardrum because if you don't brake it that bad the ear doctor will be able to repair it or put those thingy's at the back of your ear to be able to hear...

Depends on how you hit your ear. Most of the time, nothing will happen. But if you hit your ear just "right", you might force air into the ear canal hard enough to pop the ear drum. Not something to experiment with.
I would suggest you go see a doctor. I went to see a doctor and that is what happened to me. It might not be a blood vessel that burst. It may be a perforated ear drum. Either way, the doctor will suscribe you to ear drops and it will heal within 1-2 weeks.

Spraying cologne in your ear can cause inflammation of the ear canal and ear drum. This is not recommended due to most cologne's containing alcohol.
I dont know what the ear drum does that is what i am finding out now
A ruptured tympanic membrane (aka - a burst ear-drum) will drain pus and mucus from the middle ear until the hole within the tympanic membrane has sealed over. Therapy usually involves antibiotic ear-drops and sometimes oral antibiotics, too.
