∙ 11y agoYou obviously cannot give Zakat if you aren't as rich as other people, but ones who do have enough are expected to give to charity. It's one of the Five Pillars of Islam, which are the Five things which you are expected to have completed by the time of your death. What will happen to you if you choose not to give Zakat to less fortunate, is something only the Merciful Allah can decide, and we do not have the right to judge others'.
