If your referring to the ones coastbound between junctions 4 and 7 then I believe they are active....... I drove to work on Saturday morning (26th September) and saw someone get flashed twice by the last camera. This was at about 7:30am, I'm not sure if they are active 24 hours a day but would like to know as I went through them the night before doing a speed I'd rather not talk about!! There was a website run by kent police or kent county council that told you about each speed camera in the county, what the speed limit is and why the camera was put there..... Hope this helps!

A speed camera work when a driver is on high speed then the speed camera will take a shot of the car witch will have the number plate then they will be able to find all the information on the driver…
the answer to your question is no because the consumers can make a fake speed camera
Well, it is darned difficult for the authorities to find out who/what vehicle it was so they can issue a ticket. However, lest you think it is a good way to break the law please remember that there are thousands of human police officers perfectly willing to pull you over for driving without plates and they are perfectly capable of identifying you without license plates.
Depending on the position of the camera, a speed camera may be able to catch you from the other side of the road. It is best not to speed where you know there are cameras.
