The cube is high in concentration and when it dissolves it be comes low in concentration. It diffuses: molecules move from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.

Hope this helps, It was on my homework too.

The sugar cube dissolves into the hot tea performing diffusion by having its sugar molecules transfer from the high concentration area of the dropage to the rest of the tea whic would be lower concentration. In the end, it creates equalibrium. (M.D.)

The sugar dissolves in the tea. Solid sugar consists of sugar molecules that are bound to each other, that is, the molecules stick to each other, forming the solid. When solid sugar is placed in water, the sugar molecules break free from their bonds with the other sugar molecules and wander around amongst the water molecules that make up the liquid water in the tea. The tea takes on a sweet taste.

When the sugar is put into the tea it dissolves. When the sugar is put into the tea, the tea acts as the solvent and the sugar acts as a solute. The solute and the solvent mix together to make a solution.

Use diffusion to explain what happens what happens when you drop a sugar cube in a cup?

When a cube of sugar is dropped in a cup of solvent like water or milk the molecules of sugar start diffusing from its block to the solvent by their own kinetic energy so as to make a uniform solution of the solute (sugar) and the solvent (water or milk).

What happens when you drop a sugar cube into a hot mug of tea?

using diffusion what might happen when you drop a sugar cube into a mug of tea. For the sugar cube ,since the sugar cube is source, the molecules will diffuse into the hot water the sugar cube will despair

What is the process called when a sugar cube melts in a cup water?

Diffusion

Use diffusion What happens when you drop a sugar cube into a mug of hot tea?

The sugar molecules of the sugar cube move from their dropage point, which is in a high concentrated area, to the rest of the tea's lower concentrated area in which their are less sugar molecules. This process creates equalibrium's and is called diffusion - the process in which molecules move from an area of higher concentration to an are of lower concentration. (M.D.)

its like a sugar cube. you have sugar and water then it freezes. then the water is sweet. so therefore its a sugar cube

What happens to the molecules of a solid such as a sugar cube when it dissolves water?

The sugar molecules dissipate throughout the water - mixing with the water molecules.
