The engine RPM (Revolutions per Minute) increases.
Throttle position sensor.
If vehicle has a carb. (not fuel injected) a normal condition. When you step on the gas pedal the automatic choke is forced to close allowing a richer fuel mixture so the vehicle will start .
When Throttle Position sensor is bad when you step on pedal and it does not move, engine light is on!
If you step on the brake pedal while the car is moving, and nothing happens.
You are flooding the engine with fuel when you step down the pedal, and that stalls the engine. This is probably because your car timing is behind. A good tune-up and adjusting your ignition timing will solve this problem.
Step on the gas pedal 5 times repeatedly with the key in the on position then start vehicle.
misfire, step hard on pedal, softly, going slow and idling
The first thing I would recommend is thoroughly cleaning the throttle body and mass airflow sensor! This will probably fix your problem. If it doesn't, it could be some kind of problem with the fuel pump, or less likely, the ECU.
In a gasoline fuel injected vehicle the pedal pulls on a cable attached to the engine's throttle, causing it to open. This allows air to be sucked into the engine. A sensor on the throttle causes the fuel injectors to spray fuel into the engine. The air and fuel mix, enter the combustion chamber and are ignited by a sparkplug. The engine speed then increases.
Because you're stepping on the gas pedal.
The Timpani sound is produced by hitting the top of it with a mallet.
no if it is hard to step on, the cable might be wore.
