yes because crushing a liquid is physically possible. If you get morphine pills, it will have an immediate effect. Make sure you have the right dosages though because you could OD easily. The dosages people report snorting are in the 5-30mg range and the dose people have reported smoking is more in the 3-10mg range. Morphine is highly addictive even more so than weed so be careful because you can get hooked after 3-4 times.

For a knee replacement I am not sure how intense the surgery and physical pain afterwords is so I can not tell you an exact answer but most likely the doctor would either give you high Oxycontin's (atleast 40mg, the highest they make is 80mg and who knows maybe you will get 80mg, if the pain is as bad as back surgery, probably 80mg, if much less severe (not MUCH less just a noticeable difference in pain, then probably 40mg or 60mg Oxycontin pills) or you might get morphine (sorry but I am unfamiliar with the dosages of morphine, but I do know that even the lowest dose of morphine is pretty intense (intense as in extreme pain relief) so the lowest dosage of morphine is probably about equal to 40mg of Oxycodone (which is the drug in percocet and drug in Oxycontin as well, Oxycontin is called oxy-contin because its continual release, it has a coating on it and its a very small pill, it has no Tylenol in it like percocets do.) In conclusion, you would only get Oxycontin or morphine, there arent any other narcotic pain relievers (that are strong enough (for example there is vicodin, a weak percocet, and theres also darvacet, like a weak vicodin, and probably some others too) it really just depends on the doctor in the end. If your having financial problems he may give you the one that is cheaper (im not sure which that is) but equal in pain relief to the other drug, so theres nothing to worry about.

Oxycodone doesn't come in 325mg dosages - you're likely using Percocet in generic form. The 325 is the Tylenol level in that drug. The Oxycodone level will be indicated with a 2.5, 5, 7.5 or 10. OxyContin has an 8-12 hour effectiveness, where Percocet only lasts 4-6 hours. So from that OxyContin is going to be the more effective of the two. (depending on the amount of Oxycodone present in each)

Then it comes in MorphineXR, which is released over a 24 hour period. MorphineXR comes in 30mg,60mg, and 120mg. Brand names for MorphineSR are Kadian, and MScontin. MScontin comes in gerneric, kadian does not. MorphineXR only comes in the brandname, which is Avinza. Note of caution Dosages of any form of morphine 60mg or above should only be used in people who have been on large amounts of opioid narcotics, or you have been told you are opioid tolerant.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! You must take it exactly as it was prescribed, or it may stop working altogether. Furthermore, if it stops working it may not work properly for you even if you resume normal dosages. Psych meds are weird that way.
