Even though your record may have been expunged, that only means that the general public doesn't have access to it. However, law enforcement, the courts, and government agencies still have access to your "true" record, and it will disclose to them that you are a repeat offender. You obviously didn't learn your lesson the first time and will not be given first offender treatment this time around. You could be looking at having to do probation or, even possibly, a short jail sentence.
The fact that you were arrested, the charge, AND the fact that it was dsimissed WILL appear (unless expunged).
In Texas, a shoplifting charge can stay on your record permanently, unless you are able to have it expunged or sealed. Expungement is possible in certain circumstances, such as if the charges were dismissed, you completed a diversion program, or you were acquitted.
In many States in the US,You can petition the court to have a charge of shoplifting expunged from your criminal record after a certain amount of time has passed, this is most done for misdemeanors, Felony charges on a criminal record can be expunged under certain circumstances but are rarely successful.
no

IN THE U.S. - - Unless the record is "expunged" by legal action, offenses ALWAYS remain on your record. Exception: charges levied against a juvenile are no longer available (except to law enforcement) after they become an 'adult.'
You may be able to have the criminal charge of DUI expunged (although I seriously doubt it), the DMV record is NOT expungable. It becomes a permanent part of your driving record.
Maybe he's just telling you that, or maybe he wasn't actually charged with Domestic Violence but with a lessser offense such as . . . . . perhaps Simple Assault. The actual charge of Domestic Violence cannot be expunged.
Charge- yes. Conviction- no.
If it was charged as a criminal offense, it may be possible to get it expunged from your criminal history record - HOWEVER - your DMV record will always reflect the charge. DMV records are a running compilation of your entire driving history and not subject to alteration or expunction.
yes it can as long as a charge has already been made against the person or bin caught shoplifting.
If you qualify for it, you can petition to have the conviction expunged.
