The men, women, and children were forced to work for little to no pay( Age was not considered). The buildings in which they worked had horrible conditions and they had to work full days. These are just some of the hardships they faced. I hope this is good enough :P
The immigrant faced many hardship. Women, men and children were working long hours. They didn't get paid much. It was not enough money to support your family. Even if you are injured, they still fired you. There was enough employs at that time to replace your job. The machine were dangerous. If you read the book the jungle you will get a taste of what their life was like. The book is about a person telling his own story during the Industrial Age.
