Christianity has had an impact on U.S. history because several of the Founding Fathers were Christians, which had an effect on how they viewed government. Christianity has helped provide the moral backbone which made this country great.
I think that the historical impact of Christianity is similar to that of Judaism. Where Judaism is the first major religion to teach the exsistence of one God, Christianity is the second. The historic impact of Christianity is the slaughter and enslavement of people throughout the world. They forcibly converted colored people and those who resisted were tortured and terrorized. They forced their beliefs upon their helpless victims treating them like their property and worst than animals. They invaded their lands destroyed their cultures and plundered their resources (Africans, Native Americans, Asians).
Christians have worked hard to stamp out and destroy other religions.

Christian apologetics is the ministry of defending the faith. For instance, people who believe in different cults have a belief system that is contrary to Christianity and what Jesus taught etc. Apologists study the Bible to correct these errors if people will listen to them. One of the most famious in recent years was Dr. Walter Martin. He wrote a book called, Kingdom of the Cults. Your theology is what you believe, your belief system. A true Christian has a different belief system than a person who is a Catholic or whatever else you want to name.
Because 1) the theory of Evolution (humans evolving from simpler forms of life) challenges a traditional Judeo-Christian religious belief that humans were created by a supreme being at a specific moment in time and 2) the majority of Americans claim to be either Jewish or Christian (creating a large body of belief in divine creation.) Within the Scientific 'truth-system', this 'divine creation' belief is a theory. Within the Christian 'truth-system' it must be fact. (From a Christian perspective the belief in divine creation is one of the fundamental supports to the structure of Christian beliefs.)
In the first place, what political belief system are they talking about idk! Anyway, whoever it is they are talking about did probably affect the creation of the Articles of Confederation because of their many laws that helped keep peace within the civilization.

It really depends on the belief system(Christian, Hindu, Classical Greek, etc.) and whatever individual faction(if the system has multiple deities, or if the system has multiple factions of belief like Christianity - then which one do you use or follow) of that system you believe in or intend to use. Many of the classical Roman or Greek beliefs thought of serpents as both a healing or harmful being. Other beliefs have the serpent as an evil influence, while others have it as a type of trickster. Christian belief has the serpent as the devil in disguise or a demon sent to mislead man.
