Yes. The answers are usually accurate, and if they're not, then you can look at the source where they got the answer from so that you can better understand the answer. Typically answers are not provided by people like they are on WikiAnswers, usually they are gotten from a source which tends to be a lot more credible.

Ask is a search engine, like google. Wikianswers is a web site based on knowledge sharing. There two completely different kinds of websites that don't do anything alike. So neither is better.
