Lady Hogan was introduced by The Ben Hogan Company, Fort Worth Texas in 1988 As there was no real market for women golf sets in the past, no acceptable professional women sets were produced. When the market started to grow and women started to become more professional golfers, Ben Hogan decided to take a women set in production. Under the Company philosophy " A Passion for Excellence" the first Lady Hogan semi-blades set was launched in late 1988. Beautiful Carbon Steel clubheads, True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts and light-blue Nickent grips from 3 to E and 1-3-5 Woods, with (for that time revolutionary) steel heads. I can be said that this was the first top quality golf set ever made for professional women. After the Ben Hogan Company was sold in 1992 to Bill Goodwin (an independent investor) he decided to stop the unprofitable production of Lady Hogan women golfsets in 1995. Even at the today's modern standards the Lady Hogan semi-blade irons can compete in quality against any women set produced but beats by far by looks. Today a new set of Lady Hogans is very rare and hard to find collectors item, so don't hesitate if you can lay your hands on one.
I did...its a fact
