Black and Blue is about a wife and mother who goes into hiding with her son to escape her abusive husband. Because he is a police officer, it would be highly likely he would find her if she tried to hide with any legal help. She and her son assume new identities and try to start a new life, yet she is always looking over her shoulder, sure her husband will find her.
