Water, as is it a liquid.
Oxygen and nitrogen have equal average kinetic energy per molecule at room temperature. This is assuming that both oxygen and nitrogen molecules are in fact at room temperature.
Temperature is truly the measure of kinetic energy, in the case of a room, of the atmosphere. This kinetic energy of the liquid in a solution with the energy necessary to dissolve a tablet.
If the air is moving, then it has kinetic energy. If the fan is running, then the blade has kinetic energy. Maybe that's where the moving air got its kinetic energy from. If the dog is also walking through the room, then the dog has kinetic energy too, but he probably didn't get his kinetic energy from the fan or the air. On the other hand, a piece of tissue floating through the room could very well have gotten its kinetic energy from the fan, but that kinetic energy had to be carried from the fan to the tissue by the moving air.
If the feather is moving, it has kinetic energy. If there is room beneath the feather for it to fall, it has potential energy due to gravity.
Oxygen has a lower boiling point than water.
Hydrogen and oxygen are both gases at room temperature, while water is a liquid at room temperature.
Kinetic energy is that capability to do work or cause a change due to motion. So anything that moves, galaxies down to strings in string theory, has kinetic energy. On the flip side, potential energy is not energy at all. Whatever it is that has potential to become kinetic energy is said to have potential energy. But that's really a misnomer. It really should be "the potential for becoming kinetic energy." Here are just a couple of examples: Kinetic energy. A moving car, you tidying up your room, a vibrating atom, Andromeda crashing into the Milky Way Potential for becoming kinetic energy. A compressed spring, gun powder, the lake feeding a waterfall, the food you eat
Zero. I am currently sitting in my chair in my room. If the plane is my chair and my room is the reference plane as long as I don't move my chair around the room it has no kinetic energy. Now if I expand my reference plane to an observer on the sun (I know) they are going to see me and my chair hauling butt at about 30km/s around the solar system along with my room my house and the rest of the planet this velocity and my mass mean there is kinetic energy. Ek=.5mv^2
uh, down? (yes, down) The potential energy, as in a compressed spring, goes to zero as the spring is released. The potential energy (sort of) becomes the kinetic energy. (Now, I'm sure that that statement could get an argument in the physics study room in the science building, but it'll get you by...)
Energy! Methane is a stable molecule and oxygen is almost (pretty) stable. The there is sufficient energy, called activiation energy, then the two gases will react
oxygen
the hot air from food has high kinetic energy so the diffusion of these excited atoms takes place causing the smell of kitchen to be felt in the drawing room. however, this only happens in case of hot food as atoms get excited ie,have high kinetic energy whereas in the case of cold food the diffusion process takes more time as then the atoms have comparatively less kinetic energy. :)
