Start by trimming each stalk, rinsing and placing them in a plastic bag rather than storing the bunch intact. Store in the bin in the refrigerator, well away from the sides and back of the fridge to prevent freezing which will ruin it. Sprinkle the celery occasionally to keep it crisp. If the celery has already wilted, then soaking in cold water for several hours will return some of the crispness. I wash and dry very well, then wrap in aluminum foil, making sure to cover completely. Then place in the crisper drawer. I use first method, plastic storage bags, but wrap the veggies in damp paper towel before placing them in the bag. This also works well without having to trim each piece and the moisture from the paper towel eliminates the need to add water. They last much longer in a veggie drawer. I can 100% vouch for the tin foil method. I've actually had celery last for months tightly wrapped in tin foil. No need to trim.
water keeps celery crisp. it's one of the vegetables with the highest % of water. When cooking, putting it in just water will make the celery crispier by hydrating it through osmosis whereas if you cook in salt water, it will make it rubbery and salty because the high concentration of salt makes the water ceep out of the vegetable and dehydrates it
Celery has tiny capillaries that run up its stalk these structures are filled with water. When the water begins to evaporate the Celery will wilt and become limp. Celery can be perked back up if placed in water and the capillaries are not to decomposed to replenish their water supply.
All physical processes are slowed down by low temperatures and loss of water from celery cells is no exception. Processes of rotting are also inhibited. However, even in the fridge, the celery will go soft eventually, though sometimes it can be revived by standing the stalks in water.
keep it in cold water
the water can't evaporate because the foil is impermeable (things cant go through)
You boil them for less than minutes, and then put them in ice water to shock them so they stay fresh and crunchy.
No more than a couple of hours.
Orange juice that is opened does not stay fresh for long if it is not refrigerated. You should not drink it if it has been out for longer than a couple of hours.

Yes pumpkin rolls have to be refrigerated because of the cream cheese as the filling it's a dairy and can get sour.
No, actually eggs will stay fresh longer if they are refrigerated and left raw. There is a coating on the shell that protects them. Boiling removes this protection.
The apple will be fresh longer. Since the acid in the apple makes the apple turn brown the lemon juice keeps it from doing that.
They should be refrigerated or frozen if you want them to keep. Generally you should probably eat them within the day if they aren't being refrigerated so long as the weather isn't too warm.
Fresh pork should be good refrigerated for 3 to 5 days if refrigerated immediately; however, you should freeze or cook it as soon as possible.
