What herment crabs eat?

In the sea they eat small snails, dead fish, and anything else they find. They find most of their food by "smell" using their antennae. Crabs and lobsters will eat decomposing animals that really smell a lot.

In captivity they can be fed on bits of fish or meat preferably fresh.

If you go to any pet store such as petsmart or petco they have hermit crab food, they do not eat a lot and the food is only a few dollars. It will last you a few months also.
