Out of the many online work-from-home sites, in my experience the best one for freelance work is oDesk. They are accredited by the Better Business Bureau and offer legitimate freelance opportunities in a variety of skill sets.

Trading leases is legit but make sure you check out the company through the BBB before you consider. Always read the fine print as well! If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
