Vasopressin, also known as antidiuretic hormone or ADH, maintains the body's water balance by promoting the kidneys to reabsorb water. ADH is secreted by the posterior pituitary gland. It works by making collecting tubules of nephrons in the kidneys permeable to water. This allows water to be reabsorbed into the body from the urine. It is also known as water retaining hormone.

Aldosterone, released by the adrenal cortex, also aids in the reabsorption of water by increasing the tubular reabsorption rate. However, it is also responsible for stimulating the tubules to reabsorb salts.

Atrial natriuretic hormone (ANH) is secreted from the atrial wall of the heart. It has the opposite effect of aldosterone. It stimulates the kidney tubules to secrete more sodium and thus lose more water.

The secretions of ADH, aldosterone, and ANH in different amounts and when needed, regulate the the body's water balance ensuring homeostasis.

I don't think that hormones are responsible for electrolyte levels but rather the nephrons located in the kidneys control these levels through passive difusion.
