FSH Which is also known as a follice-stimulating hormone
The same hormone produced both, it is called the Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).

FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone)
The release of Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and Luteinizing hormone(LH) stimulates cells in the testes to produce Testosterone.
The hypothalamus in the brain releases Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone to the pituitary gland, located in your brain behind the eyes. The pituitary gland releases Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which go to the ovaries. FSH stimulates the selection of an egg from the ovary, and a surge of LH release stimulates the release of the egg for fertilzation. In the ovary, Theca cells release Testosterone which travels to nearby Granulosa cells which convert the testosterone to estrogen. Theca cells also make progesterone, which is necessary for growing the endometrium, which is what bleeds during the menstrual cycle.
At puberty, the hypothalamus produces GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone.) GnRH then stimulates production of LH (leutinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone)which are released by the pituitary gland. In males, LH causes secretion of testosterone and other androgens by the interstitial cells (located in between the seminiferous tubules in the testies.) Testosterone, among others duties, aids FSH in the stimulation of spermatogenesis (production of spermatozoa) and promotes the functional maturation of spermatozoa.
Ovaries secrete two kind of hormones: estrogens and progestrogens. The principal estrogen secreted by the ovary is estradiol (regulates the devolpment of external sexual characteristics of females and menstrual cycle). The main progestrogen is progesterone which acts during menstrual cycle and prepares the inner revetment of uterus for pregnancy.
Follicle-stimulating hormone, or FSH, stimulates the ovaries. The hormone triggers the growth of immature ovarian follicles, which eventually culminates in the release of a mature egg.
FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone)
The hormone is FSH - follicle stimulating hormone.
In females, it promotes the development of egg-containingfollicles in ovaries and stimulates follicular cells to secrete estrogen. In males, it stimulates production of sperm cells.
The ovaries produce Ova (about 2 million, only 400,000 make it to puberty) Estrogen (female sex hormone) and Progesterone (Steroid hormone that stimulates endometrium development).
The release of Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and Luteinizing hormone(LH) stimulates cells in the testes to produce Testosterone.
It is secreted by hypothalamus. It reacts on ovaries.
There are many hormones which stimulate activity in the ovaries. The two main ones are FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). FSH triggers the growth of an ovum, and LH is involved in causing ovulation (the release of the ovum/egg).
LH stimulates ovaries to produce oestrogen and progesteron.LH stands for Leutanizing hormone.

This is FSH - follicle stimulating hormone. While the hormone was named for its actions in the female (where it was first discovered), FSH was later discovered to also be secreted in the male, although the hormone is secreted continuously rather than in 'pulses' or 'waves' like in the female.
hormone that stimulates milk production and the secretion of progesterone in mammals; hormone which stimulates secretion from the crop gland in birds. prolactin gonadotropic hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary; in females it stimulates growth of the mammary glands and lactation after parturition [syn: lactogenic hormone, luteotropin].
