They go to school at 09:00 and come home at 16:00.
On wednesdays some french children don't go to school at all and if they do go into school it is only for half a day. If they don't go into school on wednesdays then they go to school on Saturday for half a day they also work a lot longer hours than English children do

Primary School children (5-10 year olds) go to school 9 am to 3 pm, 6hours. Intermediate School children (11-13 year olds) tend to go to school from 8.30 to 3pm, 6.5hours and College students (14-18 year olds) go from about 8.30 until 3.30, 7 hours.
