There is no household current with which you can power a 460 volt motor.

Normal US household power is 120/240VAC split phase. (Other countries have different configurations, but the answer remains the same.) Without a transformer, and a substantial power flow, you are not going to develop the voltage necessary to run a 460 volt motor. Even if you could generate that voltage, you still only have one phase available, and most 460 volt motors require three phase power.

You could do this with an inverter, or a motor-generator set, but to be blunt, you are asking about a commercial application, not a household application.

What is full load current of 2HP induction motor?

Since (in North America, at least), the horsepower of a motor describes its rated output power, you need to know its efficiency in order to determine its input power, then its rated voltage, to determine its full-load current.

How many amps does a 5.5 kw 380 v three phase motor draw?

Current drawn = 5.5 / (1.732 X Voltage X power factor)AnswerWithout knowing its efficiency, you cannot determine the input power to this motor (5.5 kW is its output power), so you cannot determine its current.

What would be the horse power required in a 3-phase motor to replace a .5 horsepower single phase motor.?

You still need the same horsepower. The advantage of the three-phase motor is that it will draw lower current.

What type of research led to the development of household refrigerators?

How many amps is 2 hp at 230V 3 phase?

6,25AnswerWithout knowing the efficiency of the motor, it's impossible to tell. The horsepower rating of a motor describes its output power; you need to know its input power in order to calculate its current.

How many amps a relay need in motors?

The current rating for a relay used with motors depends on the motor's power requirement. As a general guideline, a relay for a motor should have a current rating at least as high as the motor's full load amperage to ensure proper operation. It is recommended to select a relay with a current rating slightly higher than the motor's requirement to prevent overheating and ensure reliable performance.

Why you need to reduce starting current in induction motor?

The starting current goes abnormally high to take care of initial torque requirement, which is not good for the switch gear or for the power system, hence it needs to be controlled.
