∙ 13y agoIn the wild, they eat whatever they can find. They may eat one another if one is molting or already dead. If it's a pet, it can eat hermit crab food! You can find treats at a pet store like coconut. You can try giving it stuff like shrimp tails (I do that), fruit, meat, or anything you would eat. They need certain nutrients, so hermit crab food is good. Look it up for more info.

∙ 14y agoLand hermit crabs eat store bot food but, if you can't get any store bot food were you live they eat fruit and vegetable's. DON'T GIVE YOUR CRAB NON-PURIFIED WATER! They need the mineral's in the purified water to survive.
