phaethon's symbol is not the same as what paethons is the god of phaeton's symbol is a comet
It is the same as the Greek. Although some spell it Phaethon.
Jesus is God and was also human. As a human he suffered much like all humans do. That is why we can say God suffered in his human form. We cannot attribute human qualities to God the Father, only to God the Son who was both man and God.
Because he (the god) had sworn by the river Styx that he would grant his son Phaethon any wish he might have, and this was an oath not even the gods could break.
Phaethon was not a god, but a demigod. In some myths he is the son of Helios and Klymene, in some the son of Apollo and Clymene. I would say Apollo, because three of five sources I looked at said Apollo.
In order to prove that he truly was the son of the Sun God.
Jesus was entirely human like we are. He asked God for the abilities to do God-like things, but could not do them on his own. Arguably, Jesus had no qualities similar to God except for the qualities that we all have in common with God, which is determined by your beliefs. (This would include that we are made in the same image as God and we have all the emotions that God has). As far as divine power goes, Jesus had no abilities except for the ability to ask for God's help. The miracles he performed could be the only arguable God-like quality that Jesus had.
In Greek mythology, Phaethon is the son of Helios, the sun god. Phaethon convinces Helios to let him drive the sun chariot, but he loses control and nearly destroys the Earth, leading Zeus to strike him down with a thunderbolt.
Phaethon, in Greek mythology, was the son of Apollo and Clymene, though alternative theories place him as the son of Helios and Rhode, or Helios and Prote. It is also the name for another minor Greek deity, who is known as the God of the wandering star Dios.
In a poem it is called Personification...or anthropomorphism.
Compassion, forgiveness, kindness, and love are qualities of God that are worth emulating. Striving to embody these virtues can lead to greater harmony, understanding, and connection with others.
Phaethon was the son of Helios and Clymene. His seven or three sisters are Merope, Helie, Aegle, Lampetia, Phoebe, Aetherie, and Dioxipple, called Heliades who turned to poplar trees and cried amber tears near the river Eridanos.
