Earthquakes are largely caused by the movement of crustal plates or shifting faults-tectonic in originSOURCE: high school science today I (page 213)BY: Asther (Rayane_14)
Just finished this unit in 6th grade science :) Plate tectonics means that the plates are in slow, constant movement. There is no start and end.
hypothesis
i need an answer for an hypothesis on a colorful chemistry creation on a science project
Science tries to explain the world. Many scientists study the movement of tectonic plates that cause earthquakes.
A result is if your hypothesis was whether right or wrong and then explain it.

Discovery science is mostly about describing nature, whereas hypothesis-driven science tries to explain nature.

all you have to know is identify the problem, gather information, state a hypothesis, state a hypothesis, organize data, analyze the data, and write a conclusion if it supports the hypothesis or not Erm, I think you mean test the hypothesis.
The standard procedure is to admit your initial hypothesis turns out to be wrong and then proceed to explain why it was wrong and what really happened. Science is all about learning from your mistakes.
Hypthesis is what you infer ona science project.
it has to have purpose , hypothesis , research , title , display , pictures, explain results, conclusion and disscussion.
Its the study of the movement of the earths tectonic plates, so to do with earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis etc. Its more geography really.
The hypothesis drives the investigation.
A hypothesis is an attempt to explain a phenomenon, based on partial information. Developing a hypothesis is finding a method for testing it: identifying something which is more likely to happen if the hypothesis were true and not if it were not. The next part of developing it is to design an experiment which can be used to test these outcomes.
